That experience includes working with pioneering printers and print technologies of the 1990s and building a respected printmaking workshop serving artists, photographers, and institutions in Los Angeles and internationally. This background informs a deep understanding of materials, processes, and long-term performance—particularly in areas such as color accuracy, tonal control, ink loading, surface behavior, durability, and gloss consistency.

Printing at FRAMEWERK is approached with the same discipline and restraint as framing. Prints are produced with the final framed presentation in mind, ensuring visual precision, material compatibility, and longevity.

Producing prints in-house also provides practical value. Close coordination between printing and framing reduces handoffs, simplifies decision-making, and minimizes risk. If an adjustment or reprint is required, it can be addressed efficiently without additional transport or third-party liability.
