While the vast majority of conservation framers proudly guarantee their work, we feel obliged to take it a little further, and to codify it into our culture and policy.

The FRAMEWERK Lifetime Service Guarantee is our commitment to the long-term care of frames we have made. For the life of the FRAMEWERK practice, we provide labor at no charge, at our discretion, for reasonable servicing of FRAMEWERK frames, including cleaning, light refurbishment, and upgrades such as glazing replacement or upgrade.

The guarantee applies only to frames originally made by FRAMEWERK and reflects our confidence in how they are designed and built to be serviceable over time. Decisions regarding the feasibility and scope of any servicing or repair are made by FRAMEWERK based on the condition of the frame and the nature of the request.

The cost of new materials is not included. The guarantee does not apply to damage resulting from accidents, improper handling, environmental conditions outside normal display, or third-party alterations or repairs. Conservation treatment of artwork itself is not included and is handled separately, as needed.
