Glazing should be cleaned gently and only as needed. When light dusting with a microfiber or lint-free cloth is not sufficient, apply cleaner to a clean, non-abrasive cloth—never directly to the glazing—to prevent liquid from seeping into the frame, matting, or artwork.

Use light pressure and avoid ammonia-based or abrasive cleaners. If you’re unsure which cleaner is appropriate, or if the artwork is particularly valuable or fragile, we’re happy to advise. You may also bring your frame in for professional cleaning at no cost.
